JIMAC & Affiliates held its first ever Sports Fest.

JIMAC kicked-off its first ever “Sports Fest” held last May 4, 2019 at the UST – Angelicum Gymnasium. This sports activity is spearheaded by the Human Resource Department (HRD) headed by Manuel G. Norella, Vice President for HRD with the help of sports committees from various departments of JIMAC. This momentous event is part of the company’s effort to promote a healthy lifestyle in the workplace. JIMAC aims to nurture an active work force through sports as well as to display the sense of commitment, teamwork, respect, professionalism and excellence anchored in the company core values.

Prior to the day of the Sports Fest, participants were divided into four teams, each with a name and corresponding color, per company, namely: JIMAC (Blue), Syluxent (Brown), Dreampos (Red) and Digimatrix (Maroon). The teams will be competing in basketball, volleyball, badminton (Mens, women’s and mixed double) and women’s free throw shooting.

The opening ceremony is hosted by Mr. Benhur De Leon and Ms. Maritess Balanquit highlighting the parade of the four participating teams together with their muses. Starting with the entrance of Company Team Owners: Mr. Adrian Lim of Digimatrix Technologies Inc., Ms. Edna Hilario and Ms. Adi Custodio of Dreampos Solutions, Ms. Mailyn Quibin of Syluxent Inc. and Mr. Danilo Tan, President / CEO of JIMAC Inc. Mr. Danilo Tan delivered the Opening Remarks saying that the day aims to bring out TLC – Teamwork, Leadership and Camaraderie – from employees and to take a break from everyday work.

Team Captain’s Pledge

Simultaneous competitions in individual and group games , badminton, volleyball, basketball, women’s free throw shooting soon commenced. Basketball games between JIMAC and Dreampos were likewise played on the same day. Aside from basketball, teams will be vying for the coveted top spot for volleyball and badminton.
